SSL for OWA - Inheritance Overides

Using the article

everything goes ok until the section "Enabling SSL on the Default Website" (Near the bottom) and after i click ok i get the prompt

I didnt select anything last time i attempted it and after that i couldnt access the public folders in the Exchange system manager, i had to go back and uncheck the "Require Secure Channel (SSL) and Require 128-bit encryption" to get public folders to work.
I was wondering what effects(If any) if i selected all of the above and proceeded?
