SSL Certificate created make OWA connect slow

I have Exchange 2003 and Windows 2003. In installed Certificate Service on my Exchange server and generated my own certificate using MS instruction. After I setup OWA to use SSL for logon with my own certificate, it takes a long time for the logon page to load. If I buy the certificate from 3rd party then OWA logon page load really fast. But Small Business Server 2003 automatically generate it's own certificate and it works just fine. Does anyone know why when we generate our own certificate it takes so long for OWA logon page to load? Thanks
