I've successfully installed Certificate Services on my DC. Then I logged onto the server I wanted to secure with a certificate using SSL in IIS and walked through creating the request and then submitting it.

Everything went well, no errors, no event errors, nothing!

So I secured the webfolders that I wanted to secure and all I get is "Page Not Found" when I use Http:// works just fine.

I've tried this on a couple of different servers and none of them are working, all keep giving me the "Page Not Found".

Any ideas?

What settings do you have there?

Require secure channel (SSL) is currently unchecked.

Client certificates is set to Ignore

Enable client certificate mapping is unchecked.

I've checked "Require secure channel" but this doen't help.

If SSL is unchecked you already have the answer.

How is your Certificate Authority defined?
Did you do it? Did you assigned a certificate to your webserver access? Then you have to make mappings with users certificates. Gia Betiu
