SRVR move. Public folder replication. some accessible, some not

I performed a server move over the weekend. I followed the KB article from MS on how to remove old exchange server. All is well, but when I ran into the following;

a majority of the public folders didnt replicate to new server. when I completed the replication process,I verified the folders has a "IN-SYNC" status before removing the old server from replication.

When I navigate(using outlook) to these public folders, I get "Unable to display the folder. Network problems are preventing connection to the microsoft exchange server computer."

any ideas....
