NO
Documentation for the SrvAny executable is no longer available on msdn.microsoft.com. I guess this means that Microsoft no longer wants us to use it. Is there an equivalent piece of software available from Microsoft?

Regards,

Thomas Solvik

srvany.exe and instsrv.exe still work with Win2k. We use them to run several apps (Mercury Mail Server, etc) as services on a 2k server. Setup and use are the same as with NT4

David

Couldn't help overhearing. How do you like the Mercury Mail Server vesselscape.

Good, but be prepared for a learning curve. If you are somewhat familiar with mail protocols, its not too bad. Works well, and you CAN'T beat the price.

Docs are sketchy on line, you can purchase them (How David Harris funds Merc and PMail) Included help files cover most all situations if you take the time to read them thru, and several newsgroups as well as a forum on this site.

All in all.......Very Good
