Not sure if this is the right place for this or if I even know enough about sql to ask this, however, I'm going to try anyway.
We have a citrix server running software that uses msde and not full sql. Whenever we run a specific report, it always gives us "Error Processing report: Timeout expired". The software we are using is for property management and we currently have 5 properties. The report runs fine on the smaller properties but always hangs and gives the above error on the larger ones. I opened task manager and noticed that the sqlsrver.exe process was taking up 100% of the processor.
The server we are using is a P3 1.2ghz with 10k scsi's and 1gb of ram. At any given time, we have about 6 people connected via citrix. The OS is windows server 2000, service pack 4.
Can anyone tell me where to start on this?
Thanks
