I have SQLServer 7 Desktop edition installed on my laptop and have a need to also have SQL2000 installed on the same laptop since I have 2 different application on the machine, one that uses SQLServer 7 and the other uses SQL2000 as the back-end databases. The question is, can I have both applications installed on this one laptop? I am not talking simply about the Client Utilities(e.g. query analyzer, enterprise manager) but both versions of the databases will reside on this laptop.

Regards,

p.s. the only problem is I can't use 6.5 and 7 simultaneously. 7 and 2000 is ok. 6.5 and 2000 is also ok. Andel

When installing SQL2000 is there anything in particular I should watch out for? Are you runing NT4.0 Workstation? Which NT service pack?

Thanks,
Bessebo
