If you mean can you have a single SQL instance spanning both physical nodes, then no. SQL 2005 clustering is very easy to setup (We have 4 setup). Denny MCSA (2003) / MCDBA (SQL 2000) / MCTS (SQL 2005) --Anything is possible. All it takes is a little research. (Me) http://www.mrdenny.com Upvote 0 Downvote

Feb 21, 2006 Thread starter #3 Jamfool IS-IT--Management Apr 10, 2003 484 GB great thanks for the answer mrdenny surprising how little information there is regarding active-active clustering. when installing 2k5 in active active mode on a 2 node cluster is there anything to be careful of? Ive been thru the ms courses on installing it, but we will be doing a test run thru later today on some dev boxes. Upvote 0 Downvote
