I want to change an existing access database to SQL. I am not familiar with VB or ASP, therefore I would like to create an access front end. Will the database still have "access" limitations? I.E. poor network stability and security problems. Furthermore, when (if ever) are microsoft going to add a "front-end" package to their otherwise excellent SQL server?

They have its "Visual Basic 6.0 Professional" or higher.
See my FAQ on making an MDE, that may fix your stability problems.

Thanks DougP,

The MDE looks good. I want to go one step further with the back end though, do you know where I can find the upsizing (to SQL) app?

Cheers for your help,

RickMasters.
