Hi all,

How do I separate results from a stored procedure in CR.net 2005?

The following dataset is being returned from a SP and I want to put each returned value into it's own formula field for display.

Dividends (SP Field Name):
12 Months
18 Months
24 Months
30 Months
36 Months
42 Months
48 Months
60 Months

Thanks in advance!
Brett

I found this on BI's website. Have they fixed it in v9 or v10?

In Crystal Reports (CR), is it possible to report off a stored procedure that returns multiple result sets?

Resolution
Crystal Reports (CR) does not support stored procedures that return multiple result sets. CR requires one static result set in order to add fields to a report. CR is not designed to report off multiple result sets from stored procedures.

Crystal Reports can report off stored procedures that return a single result set.

Can't you group the data based on those month-groups? Then you could get the same effect using group totals.

Actually, you gave me a great idea. I created a new subreport and grouped it like you suggested and it worked great. Thanks! A "*" for you as well!

P.S. I am writing an extremely uncoventional report for a client. They want data from 2 separate tables that have no common links and there are about 15-20 tables on the report, each with it's own stored procedure. So far it's working, but a lot of work!
