hi there,

i'm developing a website that currently uses a backend Access db connected via the ASP controls in DMX.

could someone explain how to migrate to sql server, is there a way to port the access data into sql server. also, i understand that sql server can be used as client whilst still using the Access db, how does this work?

also, please could you forward me any links to tutorials that show building a website in DMX using sql server.

thanks in advance.

SQL server will import tables from Access/Excell/Text files or just about anywhere you wish.

Using SQL server as a client??? unsure on that one.

The tutorials are the same it is only the connection that changes. You will still need a dsn or dsnless connection to the database then everything else stays the same.
