Hello everyone.
I started using SQL SERVER to reduce network access times. I don't understand why, within an Access program, SQL SERVER linked tables seem to be slower(!!!) to be loaded than linked Access tables.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you

Post the code you are using to accomplish the linking.
Is the speed issue the time it takes to link to the tables or is it searching the tables? [sig]<p>John A. Gilman<br><a href=mailto:gms@uslink.net>gms@uslink.net</a><br>[/sig]
