SQL Server Error: 18452 - Login failed

I have a simple question. I have an ODBC connection from MS Access to SQL Server through a valid System DSN. My problem is that when I try to connect to SQL Server, I get this error "SQL Server Error: 18452 - Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server Connection". This error happens because the Trusted Connection is the default connection. I can still log on by unselecting the trusted connection and entering the username/password. Except that it's annoying to have to get this error all the time. My previous installation never had this issue.
So, my question is: Is there a way to not have the trusted connection as my default connection? I want it to prompt me for a username/password.

Thanks!

Have the same problem, except I can't enter a username and password that is accepted. Thought it might have to do with the fact that I am using Visual Studio Standard which is limited. I'm using XP with Office 2000 Premium and Access 2000.

used sa and the sa password. Works fine now. Also set up SQL user with all permission for database and it works also.
