SQL Server comparison tools

Hi,

Does anybody have any recommendations for SQL Server comparison tools? Needs to be compatible between 2000 and 2005 databases.

AdeptSQL is good, but does not support 2005

ApexSQLDiff *looks* good, but seems kinda buggy - sales rep didn't know if it supports 2005 - worked ok once, but not second time - ??

Any other suggestions? Need to find something fast.

Hi Jamfool, are you able to compare 2000 with 2005 databases?

I downloaded the trial version of this yesterday, but it said I couldn't compare against the 2005 database. Don't know if that's just a limitiation w/ the trial version, or if you can only compare 2000 with 2000 and 2005 with 2005.

not 100% sure. i think ive compared 2000 with 2005, but i will double check tomorrow for you.(monday)

yes you can compare the sql200 with sql 2005 etc.

right, although i seem to have problems scanning ALL tables in my databases at once, hangs up - works ok one table at a time
