News site running SQL 7.0. Web site uses ASP. Looking to set up a search engine to search the database for stories.

How is this done. How can we get it done?

Colin's suggestion to check out BOL for full-text indexing and searching is a good place to start. The preliminary question is: how do you plan to search? Do you want to search all of the text of an entire story? Or do you want to search via pre-defined keywords? Robert Bradley
