we hv a e-commerence site.
We need software that will handle
a. categories of products
b. membership info ( would like but not necessary)
c. we are an up-start company, resources are limited
can anyone send us some helpful info.

This is not really an SQL Server question, but:

If resources and time are severely limited, my experience with using Miva Merchant in e-commerce has been very positive. Further, it uses an XML-like scripting engine that makes modifications pretty easy. It does not store its data in SQL Server databases, though (it uses DBF files).

There is a Tek-Tips forum called "General e-Business Discussion" that would be better suited for questions like this. Robert Bradley
