I have in my backup domain VERITAS NetBackup version 5.1 on Windows 2000 server. There are 5 clients on the backup domain with 2 SQL servers installed with VERITAS SQL Agent.

The backup goes successfull including the SQL backup but I have noticed that the SQL log file(.ldf) increases in size. At the time of backup and immediately after the backup, the log didnt increase. But after a few hours the log increased. At the time of backup and immediately after the backup, the log was about 43MB but few hours after the backup, it has grown to 2.1GB.

What could be the problem? And no further backup ran after the SQL backup. And if the VERITAS didnt run, the log wonldn't have increased. What is the problem?
