SQL error 845

I intermittently get the following error on SQl 7.0. it just keeps re-occuring and increasing the timeout until you re-boot the server.
MSDN suggests maybe a server problem, has anyone else an opinion
error 844 :
Time out occurred while waiting for buffer latch type 2, bp 0x11fc4a40, page (1:89946), stat 0xb, object ID 8:267147997:1, waittime 500. Continuing to wait.

Hi Alex

I havent come across this error myself but Microsoft has an article about it on the Knowledge Base Q276499 . It suggests that it is caused when running a stored procedure that contains indexed local temporary tables, and SELECT or UPDATE statements on the tables. It says that it is a bug in SQL 7.0 sp2 but has been fixed in SP3.
