I am running Microsoft SQL Server Standard Edition and I have a database that is set to NOT automatically resize and is allocated 1100MB. I set it to 2000MB the other day and checked it today and it was 820MB and my database was full. An hour ago I set it to 1100MB and it is now 1013MB. Why is it shrinking?????

Maybe you run a scheduled maintenance plan that is set to remove unused space?
