SQL BLOB in Crystal reports - Word document

I have an SQL-table (SQL Server 2000) containing a BLOB-field, datatype IMAGE, filled with a MS/WORD-document.
When extracting this field, I have an exact copy of the original Word-document.
Now I try to link - using ADO - this BLOB-field to a Crystal reports, but the BLOB-field in CR is always empty (CR Version 7). WHen I upload a BMP-file to SQL Server and I link this field to CR, no problem.
Maybe this is not supported in CR7?
Or, Does anyone has other suggestions to put dynamically a Word-document in a section of Crystal reports?

BLOB support in CR is limited to BMPs. You could do it in SCR8.5 using the report creation API, I've not seen any sample code though. Andrew Baines
