SQL Backup

I have SQL backing the database up to a file. I then want to back the file up to tape. How do I set this up. I want to use the native backup from SQL. Is this possible?

The "native" backup in SQL Server will backup to a disk or tape. I don't believe it can backup the "backup disk" file to tape. You will need to use an NT or third party backup software. Terry L. Broadbent

One way that may be possible to do this is performing two backups each night (I presume you are doing this schedulued).

For example,

Step 1: Schedule one backup to disk.
Step 2: Schedule one to backup to tape on comletetion of step 1.
