I have recently been helping a collegue setting up window's messaging to deliver/recieve alert messages. We initially had issues with (SQL)mail server login (MAPI) error's which we resolved, but now we have issues with windows messaging in that we can manually deliver mail but when we set it to automated it will not deliver. We had someone check out our pop3 server which is setup and recieving ok. Does the problem lie with our firewall or is it something else????
