SQL and Exchange Server

I have a SQL server and an Exchange server on seperate machines. On the Exchange server I have a contact list which I want to integrate into my SQL server which I use for Quote Generation, Purchase Orders, Invoices, etc...

Question:
Is there anyway that I can query the exchange server and actually pull the information out of a public folder for this purpose?
