We had to install a version of ACT!2008, and decided to use a current SQL server to utilise the SQL agent. However, since ACT has been installed (it uses SQL 2005) the backups for our other SQL jobs have failed with following:

I have removed ACT and all SQL 2005 instances, and re-installed the CA SQL Agent, but still get a failure. I'm sure it's to do with SQL 2005 but not sure what else to try.
