Hey all,
We are working on a project and we've hit a snag. Our vendor is trying to connect to our SQL server (SQL 2000) and they are claiming that our ASA 5510 is blocking their attempt. They are able to access the SQL server itself through a VPN connection or using PCAnywhere, but they still claim that it's the ASA that is blocking the actual SQL connection. Is it possible that there is a setting in our 5510 that needs to be tweaked to get the connection to work? Specifically, all they need at this time (per their tech support) is to have ports 1434 and 1433 forwarded to this server (that has been done but they still can't connect) Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe Brouillette
