Hello,
If SQL 2000 is loaded on NT4 Server does it have exactly the same functionality as it would if it was loaded on Windows 2000, or basically is it a version of SQL 7.0 with a SQl 2000 front end

Thanks....Grimmy

Hi There

I have installed SQLServer 2000 on a NT4 server. Although Microsoft say it will lack some features if you install it on NT4, the only thing that is missing is Active Directorys. Everythings else is the same as if you were running under Windows 2000.
............. and it runs a lot faster as well !

Hope This Helps (-: Bernadette

If you want to use the IIS extensions you'll probably have to install a newer version of IIS.
