SQL 2000 Connection

Hi,
i have created an sql 2000 databse using the Enterprise Manager, I can connect to that database with visual studio.net without any problems, but I can never make any connection with dreamweaver MX 2004, everytime i try the connection i get this error

Cannot open database requested in login, "mydb".login fails

I noticed i get the same error with every database i created myself but all the sample databases i can connect to them ok, i know its a permission issue but i have no idea how to get around it or fix it,

to fix it u would create a user that has rights to your DB and then use that user/pass combo to connect to your DB....DSN or DSN less...u still have to have some "user" designated with appropriate rights to the tables and querries etc.
