We had a global domain policy change recently. This requires users to change password evey 6 wks. Since then we are getting lots of calls with account lockouts AFTER
the users have changed their password using our 8 character
criteria. They change the password and this seems to work for a week or so then they call back and say they entered the correct password but could't get logged. Of course they keep trying with the correct PW and after 5 tries they are locked out per our policy. I believe and know some of these users and believe they are typing correctly. Also I have personally tried their PW before 5 attempts and still get denied. I am forced to reset their PW and make them change on next login. I believe there is some flaw in the authentication with the PDC.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
