spoolsv.exe incrementing ports

I have a computer on the network that is sending continuous SNMP get requests (5000-6000 per hr) to a computer that is not on our network any longer. The source port is incrementing and continues to go up constantly. Anyone know how or what the problem is?

Could it be an application running on the offending PC that is still looking for data from the non-existant machine (data tables/mail messages etc)

what are the port number ranges? and what OS type are the 2 PC's running? (i.e. win2k pro, server, xp?) is there any snmp monitoring software on the offending pc.
