spoolss.dll error message

Hello,

All of a sudden I get the following message on 3 of our servers when they boot up to the gui:-

The procedure entry point get printer A could not be located in the dynamic link library spoolss.dll.

any ideas what it means?

Has anything changed recently on these servers, have you had to install anything from the NT CD???

I would firstly try re-applying the service pack or if you are not running sp6a, try installing that if you can, providing there are no issues with sp6a and any applications that you may be running on these servers

I can't think of anything that has been installed. It is very rare that the servers are actually touched. I have already tried re-applying the service pack, which is already the latest.

On one of the servers I did attached a new HP4200 printer. Most servers have at least three printers, not physically attached.

Any ideas?
