Hi,
I'm using ArcServe 11.0 on my server (Windows 2000-SP4).
My server takes 4 tapes to do a full back up, but as long as I get at least one full backup a week, its okay.
So I have been doing just a regular backup and tossing the next tape in each day. But recently they've started patching servers on Wednesday and sometimes this causes a reboot which makes the backup job crash.
One of my colleagues said there should be a way to have the backup job backup as much as it can to a tape, stop the job, then have the job reschedule itself and start from where it left off the next night. Is this possible? What is it called when you do that? I couldn't find anything in help when searching for splitting a backup job...
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
