splits with spaces:

Here is the file:
10568000003|December 25, 2002|1r1200085770|UPS Ground::
00000000002|December 23, 2002|1z1234567890|UPS Ground::
00000000003|December 23, 2002|1z1234567870|UPS Ground::
10000000003|December 23, 2002|1z1234585870|UPS Ground::
10008000003|December 25, 2002|1r1234585770|UPS Ground::
When I open the file, $data = <data>; and @data = <data>; both show up as the first line (10568000003|December 25, 2002|1r1200085770|UPS Ground::). There are spaces, and I cannot figure out how to get rid of them. Please help. Happieness is like peeing your pants.

n/m, the problem was $data was the first line. we couldn't get $data to be the entire file. than we did an array and it worked/ Happieness is like peeing your pants.
