Spliting a path

A simply one...

I need to split paths like
"//KDI-PGY2500/AraxiHome/CreoAraxi/data/SWOP 2.icm"

into:
//KDI-PGY2500/AraxiHome/CreoAraxi/data/
and:
"SWOP 2.icm"

The path may include any number of folders(with spaces in names),and I need to get it and the file name,which may include spaces.

If you use the File::Basename module, the "basename" function will give you "SWOP 2.icm" and the "dirname" function will give "//KDI-PGY2500/AraxiHome/CreoAraxi/data".
