This is more of a spectralink question then a definity one. I was told that spectralink devices cannot be routed. We have a SVP100 and we are looking to add another location. SO we would segment the networks but have a point to point connection between the 2 locations. The new location would have ip phones with extensions setup on the S8400 at the main location. Looking online it looks like the SVP100 can be used on different vlans....so shouldent it be routable? We should be able to segment the networks and use our spectralink for QoS and be able to use our wireless ip phones..shouldn't we?
