special characters in text body

Hello,

I´m just began to work with FrameMaker but I´ve got a little problem with inserting special characters (in that case greek letters) in the text. I´ve tried it by type in the code for the sign wich is posted at the windows online help but only a question mark was posted.

I believe there must be a very simple solution for my problem.

Use the character designer and change to the symbols font and you will get greek letters.

The above works. I cannot figure out what Adobe Help is trying to say on this.
