is there any way i can stop my modem from making that horrible noise when dialling?. i have tried turning off the internal speaker

well its quite easy , if u have an external modem than purchase a male headphone socket and put it into the speaker hole of ur modem and no noise ......
if u have an internal modem than open audio properties and mute pc speakeran and there it goes....
