I am in the process of replacing my CM 4.0 8700's. My question would be, could I use these again at another site (No warranty or maintenance I understand)? And what would be the cheapest cabinet I could use with them?

All of my MCC's are staying with the new Aura 6.1 being installed. I would just want to use it for some digital phones and pot's lines. Overkill I understand...but it is a great system and never had any issues, some of my other plants are using 30 year old Panasonic systems that are falling apart.

You would have to use at least a G650 with the licensed IPSI that goes with the software on the servers. SCC or MCC cabinet could also work. Your CM6 is not licensed to the IPSI boards so that should not be an issue to keep one to make the s8700 funtional.

I have 3 MCC cabinets/2 IPSI boards in my Data center and I think they are all moving onto the new system. Are those needed?

They will be needed. But, the IPSI that is licensed to the s8700 will need to stay with the s8700 in order to work. You can get a new IPSI for the cabinets that are moving to the cm6.
