SPAN on Cisco 2950

Tried to configure port mirroring with span
on a C2950 with 12.1(9) with the following config.

monitor session 1 source interface fastethernet 0/38
monitor session 1 destination interface fastethernet 0/40

When listening on port 0/40 I do not recieve unicast traffic from port 0/38, but a lot of broad/multicast.
When pinging from the switch i got the outgoing echo request, not the answers.

Any hints?

Put the parameter "both" at the end of your source statement.

I did, just found out that it was a bug
(CSCdx35482). Thanks anyway
