I am in a position where I am having to managa an Exchange server and I have never had any training for this.

I have a couple of questions.

Question 1

The undeliverable messages we get go into a bad mail folder on the Exchange server. I set up an account called bad mail and re-directed them to that mailbox but the server is still keeping a copy in the badmail folder.

I want all these messages sent to the bad mail mailbox and no copy to the badmail folder.

Can this be done and how do I set it up?

Question 2

Can I set a blacklist up on the server and apply it to all boxes. The undeliverable mail we are getting 1500 a day is all spam. If I could make a server blacklist and keep it up daily I could control a lot of this.

BUT, Is blocked mail sent to the bad mail folder?

Thank You in advance.
