Hi,
I have just joined a new company and they are using Policy Patrol as a spam filter.

Although this is preventing a percentage of spam from getting through, there is still an signifigant amount (about ten mails per user per day) still getting through.

What we would like to know is:

1) How does our current piece of software rate amongst the competitors

2) Is there a better peice of software out there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Depending on what you can do with that program (not familiar) but could you implement your own blocklists? Or use already established lists into your program?

One I would look into the Blackholes.us lists as well use the lists provided by the SBL (Spamhaus Block List ). If you dont do business with other countries (Brazil, Argentina, China, Korea) its safe to block the entire country off (it should eliminated 89% of your spam since many are sent through open proxies in those countries). Blackholes.us provide country wide blocklists.
