Hey guys,

I'm having a weird issue here.

I'm receiving a ridiculous amount of spam.

Most of the emails are not even addressed to me but they up in my inbox somehow.

I was looking at the head information of one email and the email was sent to some address at @web.de which is in Denmark. Then it was send to some address @mailnase.com. Then it was sent to my address.

We have a spam filter called nemx that does not pick these up.

Anyone have any ideas how these spam messages work and the best method to stopping them? I receive like 20 spams a day addressed to others and redirected to my inbox.

Any ideas? thx

thx

Your address is in the BCC field of the spams, that's why you aren't seeing them.

Search Tek-Tips with the keyword "IMF" and see how much helpful information there is for reducing the amount you are getting.

I see. The mail server is exch 2003 so we can install IMF on it but will IMF do a better job than nemx?
