I am new to DW and have set up a new table on a front page but when I view the page in Internet Explorer (F12) there is a gap of about half an inch from the top of the page to the start of the table and I want to remove this gap.

how can I do this? I have searched everywhere int he help file to no avail.

Check for extra tags in the code
Code:
<p> <br>
etc. Also make sure that all page margins are set to &quot;0&quot; in the page properties.

Also make sure to use CTRL+J to look at the margin settings for the page.
The margins - if not set specifically - are set to browser defaults.
Inspect the <BODY> tag for margins.

<body marginwidth=&quot;0&quot; marginheight=&quot;0&quot; leftmargin=&quot;0&quot; topmargin=&quot;0&quot;> BDC.

Thanks. all has worked brilliantly.
