Upgrade to sp4 now when boots comes up with FAT32 error. Goes through the motions of repair says everything is ok and no repairs made then re-boots again.
Goes to Fat32 at point when normally the 'Alt ctrl del' option should apprear.
Have not got a boot disk.
Cannot seem to load in safe mode to try and back out of sp4.
WHen loaded i did archive files before sp4 load.
Any advice options to try.

thanks in advance

smacattack,

If you have the Win2K CD-Rom, you can boot from it and run the Recovery Console. Once there, run:

CHKDSK Drive: /r (Change Drive to match - Normally C:)

Here is a KB article on the Recovery Console:

P.S. If this is the ONLY OS on this machine, you would be better converting the drives to NTFS. It's much more reliable !!.
