If you do anything at all with the data designer environment and/or ADO, I strongly suggest going to SP6:

I get the same error with that. Just says "Error executing program".
I uninstalled Visual studio and reinstalled it. I had installed the express version of .Net Web. But I uninstalled that as well.
Any ideas?
