I have recently downloaded SP3 for SQL 7.0, extracted the files and then ran the setup.bat, everytime I do this it fails straight away saying it can't find the setupsql.exe, I've check and the file is no where to be found. Any clues on how I get this file and why it's not there in the 1st place. Any help appreciated.

SP3 Installation fails say it can't find setupsql.exe

View the BAT file and check the path to setupsql.exe. Make sure the path exists. It probably reads x86\setup\setupsql.exe. Look for the x86 folder in the folder where you find the setupsql.bat. You can just execute the setupsql.exe and bypass the BAT file. Terry
