I have been using the generic text only print driver for several applications. After applying SP3 the print driver started behaving as in days of old - namely not printing the first character of a line, which used to be a carriage control character back in the days of line printers (most of you were not even born then). I have modified my programs to account for this, but would like to have a generic print driver that printed the full line for other applications. Was there a command or some procedure to tell the driver to print the first character - my ancient memory is failing me on this. I tried unsuccessfully to restore the previous driver.
