I have a Win2k domain that at one point in time was renamed (the domain was named "exampledom" when it should have been "example.com") After the domain was renamed (using ADMT) exchange was installed in the domain.

When I examine the headers of mail that passes through the machine, the FQDN listed in the messageID is "server.exampledom" instead of "server.example.com" I'd like to fix this issue if possible.

I've searched through the registry and text searched the exchange directory for "exampledom" and have come up empty, which leads me to believe the value I'm looking for is somewhere within the Active Directory. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
