I have a sound card installed on my system, which windows '95 detects and installs fine,as far as audio-out goes (works fine with media players and RealPlayer). However, I wanted to use the Microphone, but no luck. When I went to control panel>system>soundcard, the sound card was identified as a Creative SoundBlaster AWE 16 -32, but was signed as "..not working properly, or drivers not installed..." Of the 10 drivers listed, 3 were identified as "not available..", but are correctly located in the Windows system folder. I've reloaded and re-installed from the '95 CD, but still no luck. I couldn't find the SB type listed on Creative Labs website either and tried their FAQ's.
Can anyone suggest what the prblem might be pls?

You have to determine exactly what your card is...and then download the drivers for it.
Letting Windoze detect it is not the best solution.

Hope this assists you.
