What would cause my card to not be able to play .wav files?

Most likely, you're suffering from driver corruption. First thing I would try is completely uninstalling the drivers and then reinstalling a fresh copy from Creative Labs' web site.

I have an original copy of the drivers on my Network.
I have uninstalled , reinstalled and even updated the drivers.
I have an exact duplicate station that will play .wav files??????
I am very confused.......................

What program are you using to play them? Maybe that is the problem. Try another program, or reinstall it.

Have you checked the mixer to make sure that Wave/DirectSC has not been muted?

I have not. I will though.......Thanks.
