Sound Blaster 128

I have a sound blaster 128 (integrated on my MoBo). Trouble is its too quiet.

Anything I can do about this?

I read somewhere about a reg setting that will adjust the gain of the card but can find no such setting.

Any help?

are you using amplified speakers ? some cards have a jumper setting for pre amp or no pre amp. If in doubt get the Ball Pein Hammer out

I'll look for one but I've never noticed one.

Its plugged into I Hi-End audio amp.

Its noting to do with the amp because my card sounds quiter than any other card I've used with the same amp!

Have you got the volume settings turned up in the software program that comes with SB128?
Often the simple things are overlooked
